WELCOME to LONG BUTTE WATER SYSTEM

Long Butte Water System began serving homes in the Whispering Pines Estates subdivision in 1992.  We currently provide quality drinking water to 347 homes.  We are regulated by the Oregon Public Utility Commission for rates and service.  We adhere to the State of Oregon Drinking Water Department and EPA regulations to ensure drinking water quality.  Consumers can learn more about their drinking water by reading the annual Consumer Confidence Report.  Please follow the tab at the top of this page marked CCR to view or print a copy of the most recent report.   

Normal office hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday.  You may call us during business hours at 541-383-2863 with any questions you may have.  For all water emergencies only, please call 541-480-7068.

Meters are read on or about the 25th of each month. During winter months we may skip a month due to adverse weather.  This is typically December and February.    Our billing date is on or about the 25th of each month.  Payment is DUE UPON RECEIPT.  A late charge in the amount of $3.00 is assessed if payment is not received on or before the 15th of each month.   After receiving your 1st statement please follow the online payment link at the top of this page or access online bill-pay services here All you need to register your account is the Account number and Identification Number which can be found on your statement.   You may also call or email us to get this information.  Notices of Pending Disconnections (instructions & sample) are mailed to any account holder with past due balances pursuant to OAR 860-036-1510  requirements.

To avoid having your water service disconnected,  you must pay the past due balance or enter into a time payment plan prior to the day of the scheduled disconnection.  Contact us by calling 541-383-2863 to make arrangements.
